The Star 615TF Star-Max® griddle comes ready to be heated by natural gas, and includes a conversion kit if operators would rather use LP gas. A U-shaped, aluminized-steel burner provides heat to the plate and is controlled by an embedded modulating thermostat, which operates from 150 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and offers quick response time when the temperature is changed. Extending to protect operators from burns, a bull-nose front protects the control knob from damage.
